(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the afternoon of December 26, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, headed by Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Do Trang Thanh, supervised the extra teaching, extra learning, educational linkages and revenue and expenditure at An Lao High School and Quoc Tuan Middle School (An Lao district). Attending the meeting were representatives of leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

Reporting at the monitoring meeting, Principal of An Lao High School Tran Duc Ngoc said: Right from the beginning of the school year, the Party Committee and the Board of Directors of the school had a meeting to unify the implementation of the school year's tasks and thoroughly grasp the directives of all levels, which emphasized the work of extra teaching, extra learning and revenue and expenditure. After reaching an agreement in the Board of Directors and passing the Party Committee, the school held a joint meeting Chairman to deploy the agreed contents and hold a meeting to deploy to the entire Pedagogical Council. At the same time, hold a meeting with the Parents' Representative Board and the Heads of the Parents' Representative Boards of each class to disseminate and propagate the directives of all levels on organizing extra teaching and learning activities and collection and expenditure in the school, and ask for parents' opinions on organizing extra teaching and learning activities in the school. The school held a meeting for all parents at the beginning of the year to inform parents about the basic features of the school, the new school year's education plan, and at the same time, survey the needs and wishes of parents and students on organizing extra teaching and learning and collection in the school; develop a collection and expenditure plan and collect at the end of the month based on the actual number of hours of study of the month, collect once a month and fully implement exemption and reduction policies for students who are policy beneficiaries and poor students.

Supervising at Quoc Tuan Secondary School, Principal Bui Thi Minh Nguyet said: The school has implemented the directives of superiors to ensure proper procedures, publicity, transparency, and consensus. The Board of Directors is responsible for managing and organizing regular teaching and learning; ensuring absolutely no cutting of the prescribed curriculum content for extra teaching and learning. Implementing strict management measures for student assessment to prevent negative phenomena in extra teaching and learning; promptly handling according to authority or recommending competent authorities to handle violations of regulations on extra teaching and learning; being subject to inspection of financial revenue and expenditure; periodically summarizing and reporting the situation of extra teaching and learning to the management agency and the School Council. Regarding training cooperation, the school has implemented to ensure proper procedures, publicity, transparency, and consensus. The school has implemented revenue and expenditure to ensure proper procedures; Revenue items must comply with directive documents; be suitable to the actual situation of the school and locality; and ensure publicity and transparency.

Speaking at the two units, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city Do Trang Thanh acknowledged and highly appreciated the work of preparing content as well as arranging full members to work with the Delegation of the schools. The schools have strictly implemented legal documents and directives from superiors on extra teaching and learning. In the training cooperation, the schools have followed the correct procedures and regulations; the collection and expenditure of the schools are carried out publicly and transparently according to the instructions of the competent authorities and through the Parents' Association. The Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city requested the schools to continue reviewing documents related to extra teaching and learning, and strengthen the inspection of extra teaching and learning activities. For training cooperation with foreign elements, the school arranges to observe classes; in the collection and expenditure at the schools, it is necessary to promote democracy at the grassroots level to create consensus among parents, and at the same time share with the school about difficulties and problems. Regarding the school's recommendations stated in the monitoring session, the Monitoring Team recorded and compiled reports for the relevant authorities to consider.
