Art exchange "One determination - For a drug-free community"

The program was attended by representatives of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department ( Ministry of Public Security ); Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee; National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control; famous artists and figures who have influence on the community and young people; Dong Thoi Gian music group, artist Ngoc Anh, artist Hoang Hong Ngoc, Dong Do dance troupe, etc.

This is a program responding to the 2025 Drug Prevention and Control Action Month under the direction of the Government and the National Committee for AIDS, Drug and Prostitution Prevention and Control. The program is a forum connecting the community, reflecting the participation of the entire political system, all classes of people and functional forces in the journey to join hands to push back drugs. Thereby, clearly affirming the determination to build a civilized, healthy, drug-free community.

Art exchange — The art exchange program "One determination - For a drug-free community" was jointly organized by the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Quang Ninh province.

In addition, the program aims to raise public awareness of the dangerous nature and increasingly sophisticated tricks of drug crimes, while honoring advanced examples and innovative models in drug prevention and control. Thereby, it arouses the spirit of social responsibility, promotes a positive, virtuous lifestyle and unites the community towards the goal of at least 50% of communes, wards and towns nationwide being drug-free by 2030, affirming the determination to build a civilized, healthy, drug-free community.

The highlight of the program was the exchange with Major General Nguyen Ngoc Quang, Deputy Director of the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department, about the dangers of drugs from cyberspace. Or sharing good models and good practices of the community in drug prevention and control by Mr. Pham Tat Nghia, Chairman of the "Friends Helping Friends" Club in Quang Ninh, a typical model in accompanying, supporting and helping people after drug rehabilitation to overcome their complexes, stabilize their lives, and rise up with their own hands and determination.

In addition, the program also includes initiatives to implement "Drug-free communes, wards and towns" and "Drug-free districts" in Quang Ninh. "Commitment to the future" will bring useful information to guide the community to stay away from drugs and touching stories about humanity in the fight against drugs... The program also includes activities to commemorate drug victims and art exchanges with many performances such as "Song of the silent heroes" - Ngoc Anh; "A pair of hands" - Hoang Hong Ngoc; "Will win" - the band Dong Thoi Gian, Ngoc Anh...

In addition to the art exchange program, the Drug Crime Investigation Police Department also launched the "One determination - For a drug-free community" Running Race on June 29 at the 30/10 Square area of Ha Long City. The program is expected to attract the participation of 5,000 people, including professional and non-professional athletes; leaders of departments, the Ministry of Public Security, Quang Ninh province, and the young generation of Quang Ninh... The running race has 2 distances of 5 km and 10 km; the running route starts from the 30/10 Square area in the direction of Cam Pha.
