Checked cosmetics company, found no longer operating at registered address

Conducting a surprise inspection of AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited, the Food Safety Department, Ministry of Health discovered that the company was no longer operating at its registered address. Previously, hundreds of boxes of functional foods bearing the company's brand were dumped on the sidewalks of Hanoi streets.

According to information from the Department of Food Safety, the Department's surprise inspection team inspected AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited (enterprise code 0109644411), headquartered at 54A, Lane 192 Le Trong Tan, Khuong Mai Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi City.

AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited is the trader responsible for the health food product An Vi Moc Linh in the Product Declaration Registration Receipt No. 6160/2021/DKSP dated July 6, 2021. The product is manufactured at Bao Nguyen Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company in Dong Van I Industrial Park, Dong Van Ward, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province.

At the time of inspection, there was no company signboard, no product display and no business activity at this address.

Currently, the Food Safety Department is coordinating with the Hanoi Department of Finance to inspect and handle the case according to the law. The Food Safety Department recommends that consumers do not buy or use the above food products.

Previously, people discovered hundreds of boxes of An Vi Moc Linh functional food dumped on the sidewalk of Nguyen Lan Street, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi. The boxes and jars of food were intact, and the expiration date was on the label. The packaging also stated that it helps reduce stomach acid, protect the stomach lining, reduce symptoms of epigastric pain, and esophageal reflux due to stomach ulcers and duodenal ulcers... The incident was reported to local authorities for recall and destruction according to regulations.
