Gala Night "Ao Dai Gratitude" spreads the beauty of Vietnamese culture

Speaking at the program, Mr. Nguyen Van Dung, Vice Chairman of Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee emphasized: "Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Cultural Festival 2025 is not only a unique cultural and tourism event, but also has profound significance in preserving, promoting and spreading the value of Vietnamese Ao Dai. This is an important bridge to help Vietnam rise and integrate into the world, while contributing to affirming the position of Ho Chi Minh City as the largest cultural and economic center of the country".

Mr. Nguyen Van Dung also affirmed that Ho Chi Minh City will continue to accompany activities to honor national cultural values, promote Ao Dai to become a typical cultural - tourism - creative product, create favorable conditions for artisans and designers to have a creative environment, preserve and develop Ao Dai culture in a sustainable manner.

The Gala Night “Ao Dai Tri An” brings a unique artistic space with more than 100 exquisite Ao Dai collections, performed by famous designers and artists from Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Long An... The designs use natural silk materials, hand-embroidered motifs, and sophisticated embellishments, expressing traditional beauty combined with modernity, contributing to honoring the Ao Dai - a symbol of Vietnamese culture.

The program is also an opportunity to pay tribute to journalists who have contributed to promoting Ao Dai culture through press works, images, and films. This is also part of the activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. The Couture Ao Dai collection of the luxury brand Byfas, named Ao Dai Tri An, includes 18 designs designed and tailored to the personality and style of each journalist. Designer Anna Hanh Le dedicated it to journalists who have contributed to spreading Ao Dai culture to the community and participated in performances to promote the series of events "Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Cultural Festival 2025".

Sharing about the Gala night “Ao Dai Tri An”, Ms. Anna Hanh Le, Acting President of the Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Association shared: “Ao Dai Tri An” is a series of events to express gratitude and promote cultural heritage values for those who love Ao Dai and Ao Dai culture. At the same time, it carries the aspiration to preserve, honor and promote the unique traditional cultural values of national costumes, inspiring and spreading the love of Ao Dai to domestic and international tourists. Ao Dai, the quintessential symbol of the Vietnamese people, has been associated through many generations, blending into production life and cultural activities”.

Here, the Organizing Committee awarded 40 million to 20 tailors and embroiderers in difficult circumstances in Ho Chi Minh City from the best works of designers sold in a series of events taking place at Dong Khoi Showroom (District 1) from June 15.

The series of events "Ho Chi Minh City Ao Dai Cultural Festival 2025" lasts until October 20 with many diverse activities such as photo exhibitions, seminars, cultural tourism experiences... contributing to preserving and spreading the love of Ao Dai to the domestic and international community.
