In her opening speech, Ms. Hoang Thi Dung, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism emphasized: The Mong ethnic cultural exchange program is an opportunity to honor and introduce good traditional cultural values, contributing to preserving and promoting national identity in the period of integration and development.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, the audience was immersed in a cultural space imbued with identity with unique art performances such as: Excerpts from the Gau Tao ritual - a traditional blessing festival of the Mong people; solo performances of traditional musical instruments; panpipe dancing, love songs, and performances of traditional costumes... performed by mass art troupes from districts and cities in the province.

Highlights of the program were the graceful Mong flute performances, the rustic folk songs echoing in the mountains and forests, and the traditional spiritual rituals, giving viewers a genuine and profound experience of the spiritual and cultural life of the Mong people in the highlands of Bac Kan .
