On the evening of April 16, May Dap Cau Kindergarten (Bac Ninh city, Bac Ninh) reported an incident of a teacher beating a child that caused a stir in the online community at noon that same day.

According to a clip circulating online, while playing with classmates, a young child was taken to a corner of the classroom by a teacher and repeatedly beaten. The incident was recorded by a surveillance camera. Later, the parent posted the video recorded by the camera on Facebook.

Specifically, in class 24-36 months 2, the VMA teacher had spanked a child. Upon receiving information from the parents, the school and family reviewed the camera and asked the teacher to report the incident.

Here, the teacher apologized to the family for her behavior. The principal apologized to the parents on behalf of the school and promised to handle the teacher according to regulations, after which the parents picked up the children.

Up to now, the school has decided to temporarily suspend the above teacher from work to continue reviewing the incident.

In the report, Ms. Tran Thi Hoa - principal of May Dap Cau Kindergarten - said that after the parents posted the video on Facebook, the school contacted the child's mother to ask about her health and asked the parents to calm down and resolve the matter together. However, the parents did not accept it and wanted the teacher to take responsibility.

Afterwards, the leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh city directed the school to handle the incident and temporarily suspended the teacher involved.

"The school found the teacher's behavior inappropriate and decided to temporarily suspend the VMA teacher from work to resolve the matter.

The school will strive to continue to stabilize the care and education activities in the school. Thoroughly implement the ideology, working style and behavior towards all teachers and staff.

At the same time, actively discuss with the family in the most good-natured way so that the family can sympathize and work with the school to find the best possible solution to the matter," said the principal of May Dap Cau Kindergarten.

Speaking with Tuoi Tre Online , Mr. Vu Xuan Hung - Chairman of the People's Committee of Thi Cau Ward, Bac Ninh City (Bac Ninh) - said that as soon as they received the information, the police, ward leaders and professional staff came to work with the family and the school.

Despite being persuaded, the family still did not agree to take the child in question for a medical examination.

According to Mr. Hung, May Dap Cau Kindergarten is a private school belonging to May Dap Cau Corporation (Bac Ninh), not a public school as many reports on social networks, and said he would provide more information after the incident was clarified by the authorities.
