This summer, the Da Nang Children's Palace is organizing a summer camp for children with many activities including sightseeing, excursions, and team-building, taking place on July 22nd and 29th. The camp includes two main components: a summer life skills education program themed "I love the sea and islands of my homeland" and a "Experience to grow" program.
Through a life skills education program, nearly 200 children from the city visited, played, and learned many new things at the 3D Museum; and learned about the history, sovereignty of the Hoang Sa archipelago, and marine life at the Hoang Sa Exhibition House.

Upon arriving at the Hoang Sa Exhibition House, most of the children were surprised and curious as they saw for the first time the artifacts and tools used in the daily lives of the people of Hoang Sa, guided by the tour guide.
We were especially excited to admire the largest collection of seashells in Vietnam, with over 1,000 types of snails, clams, and mussels on display. Phan Hoang Quyen, a student from the 2D gifted class at the Da Nang Children's Palace, shared: "I am very happy to visit the Hoang Sa Exhibition House. We hope to come back here again to learn more new things."

According to Mr. Bui Thien Vy, Deputy Director of the Da Nang Children's Palace, with the life skills education program "I love the sea and islands of my homeland," students are encouraged to develop awareness and emotions about the sacrifices of their ancestors in protecting the sovereignty of the sea and islands of their homeland.
This is also an opportunity for children to gain more knowledge about the history, land, and people of Hoang Sa. From there, it fosters national pride and an appreciation for peace today among young people.

On July 29th, the Children's Palace continued to organize the "Experience to Grow" program for approximately 300 students. The main activities included field trips, team building, and group activities. This created a beneficial and practical playground for children during the summer, contributing to the development of habits, time management skills, problem-solving abilities, and positive thinking through hands-on activities.
