Can Tho youth invite each other to go archery to exercise and relieve stress

On February 16, with the support of the Vietnam Youth Union of Can Tho City, the Can Tho Sports Archery Club - Archery Station was launched in Ninh Kieu District.

More than 200 young people from Can Tho, including many groups of friends, scheduled to participate in this interesting playground this weekend. This is also a new meeting place for those who love this sport.

Nguyen Thuy Trang (Can Tho) shared that her group of friends registered to join the shooting range today, and decided to make a "bet" on shooting, and whoever lost would pay for a round of bubble tea after the shooting session. "Archery helps me exercise, relieve stress, and have time with friends to have fun together. I find it very rewarding!" Trang said with a smile.

Mr. Huynh Minh Duc, the club's manager, said that the Can Tho Sports Archery Field was put into operation to meet the needs of learning, experiencing and wanting to become semi-professional and professional archers for those who love the sport of archery, especially young people in the West.

The club currently has about 100 members, most of whom are students from Can Tho. Archery helps to train players' concentration, perseverance, and discipline. Players must follow the rules and commands of the coach at the shooting range.

New players will have a coach to closely guide them on shooting posture, arrow loading techniques, and aiming.

"This sport gives players the experience of victory, enjoying the feeling of conquering the target in an exciting way. When after many days of practice and training, when drawing the bow, aiming accurately, the arrow hits the target," said Mr. Duc.

Can Tho Sports Archery Field has an area of ^{​​1,000m2} with 18 shooting targets. The field also connects directly with professional athletes and coaches who are practicing and competing, regularly organizing training courses to improve shooting skills for players.

Players can transform into archers to participate in "competitions", exchange and share experiences with each other about popular types of bows such as bare bows, single-string competition bows, three-string bows, traditional bows...
