TPO - In late April, thousands of water hyacinth flowers bloom in purple, creating a poetic scene that attracts young people in the capital to check-in and take photos.

About 10km from the center of Hanoi , opposite 285 Phuc Loi Street, Long Bien District, is a field of water hyacinths blooming in purple.

Purple flowers spread across the water creating a romantic and poetic scene.

This place seems to be wearing a new coat, attracting young people to come and enjoy and record beautiful moments.

"The scene in the flower field really surprised me. I have known about water hyacinth or in the countryside it is often called duckweed, but I did not expect that right in the capital Hanoi there would be such a beautiful and peaceful scene," the group of young people shared.

Water hyacinth, also known as water fern, water hyacinth, water fern, Japanese water hyacinth, originates from South America. This aquatic, herbaceous plant, floating on the water surface, has long been associated with the image of the rustic, simple countryside of Vietnam.
