It is expected that after the arrangement, the central ward of the town will be named Kinh Mon.

According to the new naming method compared to the previous plan, Kinh Mon 1 ward (including wards: An Luu, Hiep An, Long Xuyen) is expected to be named Kinh Mon ward. Since the reign of King Le Thanh Tong (1469), Kinh Mon has been one of the four prefectures of Thua Tuyen Hai Duong . The name Kinh Mon has existed since then. Naming Kinh Mon for the central ward has the meaning of honoring the original place name, preserving cultural and historical values ​​in the process of arranging and renewing administrative units.

Wards: Kinh Mon 4 (including That Hung ward and communes: Le Ninh, Bach Dang); Kinh Mon 6 (including Duy Tan, Phu Thu, Tan Dan, Minh Tan wards); Kinh Mon 7 commune (including Quang Thanh, Thang Long, Lac Long communes) are expected to be named Bac An Phu ward; Nhi Chieu ward; Nam An Phu commune, respectively. According to natural characteristics, Kinh Mon town is divided into 4 areas: Tam Luu, Nhi Chieu, Bac An Phu, Nam An Phu. These are long-standing names, closely associated with natural characteristics and the daily life of local people.

The remaining 3 wards are expected to be named after famous people, expressing pride and gratitude for the great contributions of our ancestors to Kinh Mon land.

Specifically, Kinh Mon 2 ward (including Hien Thanh, Thai Thinh and Minh Hoa communes) is expected to be named Nguyen Dai Nang ward. Dai Viet Su Ky recorded: "In the year of Quy Mui, Khai Dai Nguyen year (1403), there was a doctor in Giap Son Kinh Mon named Nguyen Dai Nang who was good at acupuncture". He was once appointed Quang Te Lenh, in charge of the royal health care , specializing in making medicine to treat the poor... He left behind the book "Acupuncture and Acupuncture" which recorded the treatment of 130 diseases and 170 acupoints. This is a valuable asset on non-drug treatment methods for Vietnamese medicine.

Ward Kinh Mon 3 (including Ward An Phu and communes: Thuong Quan, Hiep Hoa) is expected to be named Ward Tran Lieu. An Sinh Vuong Tran Lieu was a royal member of the Tran Dynasty. He helped the king defend the Northeast region. From the An Phu and Yen Tu ranges, he built the coastal area of ​​Hai Dong into a prosperous region, was given land by the court as a fief and was given the title of An Sinh Vuong. He was the father of Hung Dao Dai Vuong Tran Quoc Tuan (1228 - 1300) - who had great contributions in the resistance war against the Yuan - Mongol army.

Ward Kinh Mon 5 (including wards: An Sinh, Pham Thai, Hiep Son) is expected to be named Pham Su Manh ward. He was a son of Kinh Mon (from Giap Thach village, Giap Son district, Kinh Mon prefecture, now Hiep Thach residential area, Hiep Son ward, Kinh Mon town). He was a famous scholar of the Tran Dynasty, an excellent student of the National University's Vice-Chancellor Chu Van An. After returning from a mission to China, he was promoted to the position of Nhap Noi Nap Ngon. He was also famous for his literature. Legend has it that Pham Su Manh often went to Kinh Chu cave to read books and left many traces here.

Previously, the plan to arrange commune-level administrative units was unanimously approved by the majority of voters of Kinh Mon town, including: Kinh Mon 1, Kinh Mon 2, Kinh Mon 3, Kinh Mon 4, Kinh Mon 5, Kinh Mon 6 and Kinh Mon 7.
