Reporter: What material did you use to compose the song "50 seasons of flowers blooming"?

- Musician KY ANH: I wrote this song to respond to the songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" organized by the Newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). When writing, the message echoed in my mind: Keep your faith and love to be worthy of "50 seasons of blooming flowers". I appreciate the affection of readers and the public for the Newspaper Nguoi Lao Dong - a newspaper with many activities behind the scenes that demonstrate a high sense of community, spreading love, and caring for many people in society. I always remember when I was seriously ill, the program "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" visited me, gave me gifts, and encouraged me to try to get well so I could continue composing.

How does the emotional circuit come to you while you continue to treat the after-effects of the stroke?

- The loving tones from the program "Mai Vang Nhan Ai" have touched my heart, so despite my illness, I am still optimistic, still looking for emotions through each page of the newspaper that I read every day. I find there the great affection of the team of journalists who are diligent, qualified, have direction and especially care about the lives of artists not only in Ho Chi Minh City but also in many provinces and cities across the country.

Every day, the Lao Dong Newspaper took me for a walk around new constructions and new residential areas to clearly feel the pride of the city. I put into the song beautiful melody and lyrics to talk about a Ho Chi Minh City that is constantly striving to build and develop.

In the song, there is the line "Trao nhau Nguoi Lao Dong, the more people trust, the more people love", what made you write such emotional words?

- It is the creativity, dynamism, and dedication of your newspaper to its readers. I want to affirm this because the newspaper has created many impressive programs and events in the past 5 years. Therefore, we musicians have the responsibility to accompany and spread good values to the people of the city in particular and the whole country in general.

What do you suggest for popularizing songs after the song composition campaign with the theme "The Country is Full of Joy" of Nguoi Lao Dong Newspaper?

- The Lao Dong Newspaper needs to print the songs participating in the songwriting campaign into a book, helping to better disseminate the songs. The newspaper needs to call for the cooperation of businesses, agencies, enterprises, and organizations to introduce and promote the songs through many forms such as exchange and music programs; through the newspaper's social networking platforms. Ho Chi Minh City has entered the new school year, it can organize the introduction of the songs in the semi-finals through the school stage program.

Do you expect the songs from this songwriting campaign to have a strong impact on young people in promoting patriotism?

- That is not only my wish, but I think all the participating musicians also want the results of the campaign to spread positive messages to the young audience. Thereby helping young people have more motivation to build the country to become increasingly prosperous.

The songwriting campaign "The Country is Full of Joy" is organized by the Lao Dong Newspaper to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025). The Organizing Committee will select the 20 best works for the final round. The final round is expected to take place in February 2025. During the time of receiving works and preliminary screening, the Organizing Committee will select good works to stage and introduce at the 30th Mai Vang Awards ceremony (around January 2025). At the same time, the Organizing Committee will also post the works on the newspaper's social networking platform to introduce to the community.
