Suggestions for provincial-level science and technology tasks

Chairing the meeting, Director of the Department of Science and Technology Ta Quang Truong said that according to the implementation targets of Resolution 57 of the province, each year Dong Nai must accept and apply at least 20 science and technology tasks.

Thus, each department, agency, and sector must propose at least one task. The requirement for each S&T task is that there must be a proposing unit, a research unit, and an application unit. Only then will the S&T task originate from practical requirements and have practical application.

The Director of the Department of Science and Technology also noted that, in addition to proposing science and technology tasks to serve state management, departments, branches and sectors need to pay attention to proposing science and technology tasks to serve people in production activities and science and technology tasks related to industrial production.

Mr. Ta Quang Truong also suggested that departments, branches and sectors should closely follow Resolution No. 71/NQ-CP of the Government on amending and updating the Government's Action Program to implement Resolution No. 57 to develop action plans and identify science and technology tasks related to the fields that their departments, branches and sectors are in charge of.

In addition, departments, branches and sectors need to raise awareness about the implementation of Resolution 57; proactively popularize digital knowledge; and at the same time, prepare so that when the province merges, they can "assemble" and connect data between the two sides.
