Within the framework of the Hue Festival and the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025, the Hue Monuments Conservation Center organized an exhibition with the theme "Vietnamese Ceramic Journey". The exhibition had the participation of antique collectors from the Ho Chi Minh City Antiques Association, the Eastern Antiques Association - Hai Duong, the Pho Hien - Hung Yen Antiques Club, and the Quang Nam UNESCO Antiques Research and Collection Club.
In addition, the exhibition features artifacts from the Vietnamese ceramic collection of the Nam Hong Royal Museum, Hue Royal Antiquities Museum, and Huong River Ancient Ceramic Museum.

According to the Exhibition Organizing Committee, the pottery profession is closely associated with the history of thousands of years of Vietnam. Vietnamese pottery not only clearly shows the process of social development but also reflects the aesthetic thinking and spiritual life of Vietnamese people through historical periods. With artistic and cultural values bearing the mark of history, the ancient ceramic artifacts that are still preserved today are an extremely valuable cultural heritage of our nation.
The exhibition "Journey of Vietnamese Ceramics" took place this time with the participation of 49 domestic antique collectors and People's Artisan Tran Do (Bat Trang pottery village). Within the framework of the exhibition, nearly 200 Vietnamese ceramic antiques were introduced to the public through historical periods from prehistoric times to the 10th century with Sa Huynh and Oc Eo pottery...; Ly - Tran period (11th - 14th century) with Bat Trang pottery (Hanoi), Chu Dau (Hai Duong), Phu Lang (Bac Ninh)...; Le - Mac period (15th - 16th century) with newly emerged pottery lines such as Chau O (Quang Ngai), Quang Duc (Phu Yen)...; From the 17th to 19th centuries, with the Southern pottery line with large pottery centers such as Lai Thieu (Binh Duong), Bien Hoa (Dong Nai), Cho Lon (Saigon), Thanh Le pottery, especially Cay Mai pottery, created products such as ornamental pots, jars, urns, worship items, decorative statues... with a rustic but close and lively style.

Mr. Hoang Viet Trung, Director of the Hue Monuments Conservation Center, said that with values imbued with national identity, the ancient ceramic artifacts preserved to this day are a precious cultural heritage. "Vietnamese Ceramic Journey" hopes to be a space for antique collectors, museums, and researchers to meet and discuss a unique type of cultural heritage of the nation; a place for tourists to have more impressive moments when visiting the Hue Imperial Citadel.
The exhibition "Vietnamese Ceramic Journey" will open to visitors from April 26 to July 26, 2025.
