Accordingly, drug businesses and facilities are not allowed to trade, sell or use the following counterfeit products:

Clorocid TW3 tablets (Cloramphenicol 250mg), registration number: VD-25305-16; manufacturer: TW 3 Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, packaged in plastic bottles of 400 tablets.

Tetracycline TW3 tablets (Tetracycline hydrochloride 250mg), Registration number: VD-28109-17, Manufacturer: Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 3, packaged in plastic bottles of 400 tablets.

Pharcoter tablets (Codein base 10mg; Terpin hydrate 100mg) , registration number: VD-14429-11, manufacturer: Central Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company 1 (Pharbaco), packaged in plastic bottles of 400 tablets.

Counterfeit drug product Neo-Codion (note: Neo-Codion drug is licensed for circulation by the Ministry of Health with the following official information: Circulation license number: 300111082223 (old registration number: VN-18966-15); active ingredient: Codein base (as Codein camphosulfonate 25mg) 14.93mg; Sulfogaiacol 100mg; Grindelia soft extract 20mg; dosage form: sugar-coated tablets; packaging: box of 2 blisters x 10 tablets; manufacturer: Sophartex Company (France), address: 21, rue du Pressoir, Vernouillet, 28500).

16 products do not match any drugs on the list that have been granted a registration license by the Ministry of Health, including: Rheumatoid arthritis; Tui Hua Shen Jing Tong (Singaporean degenerative medicine); Cordyceps sinensis, ginseng, velvet, spleen, and appetite stimulant; Professor's Pil (green joints); Mujarhabat Kapsul (red joints); Gai cot hoan; Toa cot thien ma thong phong hoan; Tuyet lien thien ma bao khop hoan; Phong te dau Bach Xa Vuong; Phong te dau Ho Cot Hoan; Da sinonas; Vien vai cot; Yuan Bone; Thoai cot hoan plus; Thoai hoa dau khop hoan plus; Thoai hoa toa cot don.

To ensure the safety of users, Dong Nai Department of Health strictly prohibits drug trading and using establishments in the province from trading, distributing and using the above counterfeit products. Only buy and sell drugs at legal pharmaceutical trading establishments; do not buy and sell drugs of unknown origin; promptly report any suspicious signs of production and trading of counterfeit drugs or drugs of unknown origin to health authorities and relevant authorities.

When detecting counterfeit drugs, it is necessary to promptly report to the local Health Department and the Department of Health (Professional Department), phone number: 02513.840.654 or hotline: 0967891717 for inspection, verification, and tracing of origin.

Hospitals and medical examination and treatment facilities in the province review the process of purchasing and supplying drugs and the drug supply situation in the past; ensure that the drugs supplied are licensed for circulation and supplied by legal pharmaceutical businesses, with full invoices and documents.

In case of detecting any suspicious signs of abnormality in the drug or the drug has not been licensed for circulation, immediately seal it, do not continue to use the drug and report to the health management agency or competent authority for inspection, verification and handling according to the provisions of law.

In addition, coordinate with the police, market management, Steering Committee 389 and relevant authorities to inspect drug trading establishments in the area to ensure the rights and health of consumers.

The Provincial Testing Center shall increase sampling and quality control of drugs in circulation in the area for drugs at risk of being counterfeited or of poor quality; promptly report detected cases to the Department of Health and relevant authorities.
