Accordingly, 3 houses were handed over to 3 families including: Mr. Chau Ngoc Thanh and Mr. Le Van Hieu in Suoi Cat hamlet; Mrs. Pham Thi Et in Rach Kien hamlet. Each house cost 100 million VND to build, supported by the Provincial Red Cross Association.
At the house handover ceremony, the leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Association, Dau Tieng district and local authorities also presented many meaningful gifts to the 3 families, contributing to sharing and encouraging the families to soon overcome difficulties and improve their lives.
In addition, the provincial Red Cross Association leaders also supported Ms. Pham Thi Et with 5 million VND to help her cover her living expenses. Ms. Et suffered a stroke and was bedridden, and her family's circumstances were extremely difficult.
Implementing the program "eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" and Humanitarian Month 2025, on May 30, the Ben Cat City Red Cross Association also organized the handover of a Red Cross house to Ms. Vo Thi Thanh Truc's household in Ben Giang Hamlet, Phu An Commune.
The house has an area of 62m2 , plastered walls, corrugated iron roof, and tiled floor. The total cost of building the house is 140 million VND, with the City Red Cross Association mobilizing Ms. Vo Thi Hong and Supor Vietnam Co., Ltd. supporting 100 million VND, the rest is contributed by the family.
On the same day, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Red Cross Association held a meeting, encouraged and presented gifts to Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Hien, Head of the Red Cross Association of Ben San Hamlet, Long Nguyen Commune, Bau Bang District, who is a delegate of Binh Duong Province attending the ceremony to honor 100 outstanding blood donors nationwide in 2025.
Accordingly, up to now, Ms. Vo Thi Ngoc Hien has donated blood 67 times. In addition to herself, she also participates in mobilizing many people to participate in voluntary blood donation.
This year's honoring ceremony will take place in Hanoi and Phu Tho from June 3 to 5.
