In particular, schools are considered a key environment to spread positive cultural values.

Responding to the movement to build a cultured and virtuous lifestyle, the teachers and students of Tan Phuoc Khanh Secondary School (Tan Uyen City) have carried out many specific and practical activities, contributing to building a green - clean - beautiful school environment. The campaigns organized by the Teachers' Union focused on removing illegal advertisements and classified ads, cleaning the campus inside and outside the school, and planting and caring for trees along the fence, parking area and flower beds in the school campus.

In particular, Tan Phuoc Khanh Secondary School is also one of the pioneers in applying information technology to tree care. Accordingly, 100% of the school's staff, teachers and employees are responsible for planting and caring for at least 2 trees on campus or in their residence. Each individual is responsible for monitoring and updating the progress of tree growth via QR code twice a week (on Tuesday and Saturday), reporting directly to theeducational institution and the City Department of Education and Training. The combination of environmental protection activities and digital transformation not only creates efficiency in management and supervision, but also contributes to raising the sense of responsibility of teachers and students in preserving the pedagogical landscape, building a culture and morality lifestyle in the school.

Phu Hoa Secondary School (Nguyen Thai Binh Street, Thu Dau Mot City) has taken advantage of a campus of more than 100 square meters to build a model of "Medicinal herb garden and experimental vegetable garden". This space is taken care of by teachers and students together, growing many familiar green vegetables and medicinal plants, such as: green mustard, Malabar spinach, Polyscias fruticosa, Plantago, lily, basil...

Ms. Trinh Hong Hai, one of the teachers in charge of the garden, shared: “The garden started operating in January 2024, with the aim of helping students become familiar with the names and uses of vegetables and traditional medicines. Not only is it meaningful for learning, students can also apply it in practice, from cooking to health care. Although most of the care is taken care of by teachers, many students are also very excited, often taking advantage of recess or after school to participate in gardening.”

In addition to the model of “Medicinal Herb Garden and Experimental Vegetable Garden”, the program “Civilized Saturday” is also regularly implemented by the school with the participation of cadres, teachers, staff and students. Everyone works together to clean and take care of trees, not only contributing to beautifying the school space but also spreading awareness of environmental protection. In particular, many parents also join hands to support seedlings, contributing to creating a clean and friendly learning environment, in line with the spirit of “green - clean - beautiful” that the school is aiming for.

Form good habits

While performing teaching duties and being active in the Youth Union, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong, a teacher at Tran Quoc Toan Primary School (Thuan An City) is always dedicated to building a cultured and virtuous lifestyle in the school environment. For him, it is not only a part of educational activities but also the foundation for shaping students' personalities.

From that enthusiasm, many meaningful models have been implemented at the school and brought about practical results. A typical example is the model "Clean school drum". Every time the drum sounds, instead of the usual break-time activities, all students simultaneously go out to the yard to pick up trash and clean the school. The students divide the work by class, each student has a task, together collecting leaves, trash, candy wrappers... in the right place. The image of hundreds of students and teachers working together to clean the school yard creates a beautiful scene like a swarm of hard-working bees, spreading the spirit of responsibility and awareness of preserving a green - clean - beautiful environment.

Not stopping there, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong is also the initiator of many creative models to spread civilized lifestyles, typically: "Exchanging trash for gifts", "Green classroom" with corners displaying nature, donating trees every week... These activities contribute to enriching school life and building a happy learning environment.

Together with the school's Youth Union and Youth Union, Mr. Bui Xuan Truong also maintains and develops environmental protection education activities in many forms, such as: Waste sorting at source, broadcasting propaganda, flag-raising activities, experiential activities during recess... In addition, he also mobilizes the school's youth union members to actively respond to movements such as "Friday for the environment", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday" or "Green Library"... programs that contribute to spreading the spirit of green living and action for the community in every corner of the school.

In recent times, schools in the province have been implementing many joint activities to build a civilized and cultural lifestyle such as planting trees and flower gardens in school grounds and on roads around schools; managing and ensuring food hygiene and safety in schools and in front of school gates. At the same time, units have implemented the construction of civilized, green - clean - beautiful - safe schools with models such as safe school gates, arranging traffic control forces during rush hours, saying no to school violence; organizing extracurricular activities on environmental protection awareness for students; collecting recycled milk cartons, equipping trash cans, classifying waste at source; strengthening propaganda and mobilizing parents, students to comply with regulations on traffic order and safety, actively participating in the movement of planting and caring for trees...
