This year’s award was organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism in collaboration with the Departmentof Education and Training, the Provincial Youth Union and Thu Dau Mot University. With two categories of individual and group painting on paper, the award attracted 1,103 contestants. The Organizing Committee received more than 900 entries.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded a total of 249 prizes. Accordingly, in the individual painting category, the Preschool block had 45 prizes (including 5 A prizes); the Primary block had 90 prizes (including 10 A prizes) and the Secondary block had 70 prizes (including 10 A prizes).
In the group painting category, the Primary School group won 5 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 5 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes; the Secondary School group won 5 A prizes, 5 B prizes, 5 C prizes and 5 consolation prizes. The Organizing Committee also awarded 4 group prizes to localities with high achievements in this year's competition, including 1 A prize, 1 B prize and 2 C prizes.
This is a traditional fine arts award of the province that has been held for many years for children aged 4-15. Through the award, we aim to create a healthy and useful playground for teenagers and children, encourage the development of fine arts activities in and out of school, and actively contribute to the aesthetic education process for children.
