Giving 100 gifts to disabled people in Ben Tre

BDK.VN - On May 29, 2025, the Provincial Association for Supporting Poor Patients organized the presentation of 100 gifts to people with disabilities. Each disabled person received 1 million VND in cash and 1 box of instant noodles.

The program was sponsored by Venerable Thich Chon Tinh and the Buddhist Charity Board of Thuong Quang Pagoda, Ho Chi Minh City, sponsored by Benevolence Charity Hall LTD Hong Kong.

Chairman of the Provincial Association for the Support of Poor Patients Tran Cong Ngu said: On the occasion of the Mercer on Mission - Vietnam delegation's working trip to the province to examine and treat bone and joint diseases, and provide free prosthetic limbs for poor patients, the Benevolence Charity Hall LTD Hong Kong came and gave gifts to 100 disabled people who were being fitted with prosthetic limbs. Among them, there were 50 disabled people in Ben Tre, 50 disabled people from Tien Giang, Dong Thap, An Giang , Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, Dak Nong provinces . Particularly, Venerable Thich Chon Tinh is the one who has been involved in many years in supporting funding for building bridges, roads, and giving gifts to the poor in the province.
