Born and raised in Dinh Thanh A commune, Dong Hai district, Bac Lieu province, Le Mi has a strong will and desire to rise up, affirming her own value every day through her own efforts in all aspects.
Sharing about the opportunity to come to BDU Ca Mau , Le Mi confided that this was a natural and meaningful choice, because not only was the school close to home, but through research, she learned that the school had a variety of majors, many valuable scholarship policies as well as a commitment to supporting students' employment before and after graduation, so she applied and became a part of the BDU Ca Mau student community. This is the place that nurtured her passion for learning and sense of responsibility to society.
Le Mi's achievements are a clear testament to that perseverance and effort. In the 2023-2024 school year, she was awarded the title of "5 Good Students" at all three levels: school, province and central. This is a title that affirms the comprehensiveness in learning, ethics, physical strength, volunteering and integration of students.
Le Mi received a certificate of merit with the title of "5 Good Students" at the central and provincial levels last school year.
In addition, Le Mi also achieved the achievements of "Excellent Movement", "Excellent Study, Excellent Training", "Healthy Youth" certificate at the provincial level, along with many sports awards such as: setting a record for the 100m women's race for 2 consecutive years, second prize in the school-level women's volleyball competition. Not only that, Le Mi also actively participates in scientific research at the ISC 2024 International Conference and major volunteer activities such as the Vietshrimp 2024 International Fair.
Behind those achievements is an inspiring perspective on life: "Success comes not only from studying well but also from a positive attitude, a spirit of dedication and constant effort." That has helped Le Mi grow up through each challenge. Besides studying, Le Mi is also a part-time employee at Lotte Cinema Ca Mau, a job that has been with her for a long time. Talking about her part-time job, Le Mi said that thanks to working in a stressful but dynamic service environment, she has been able to apply many skills learned from school such as: communication, teamwork and learning more sales skills, customer care, and most of all, confidence and maturity in behavior. This is the valuable luggage that helps her step more firmly on her future career path.
Not only is Le Mi good at studying and working, she is also an exemplary Youth Union officer: Class President of Class 24QT0101, Secretary of the Economic Youth Union, Member of the Executive Committee of the Branch Youth Union. She always enthusiastically participates in and organizes many movement and social security activities, contributing to uniting students and spreading humanistic values. Outstanding among them is the summer volunteer campaign. Le Mi confided: "When I witnessed the joy of those who were helped, I realized that even small actions can create big changes."
In particular, in 2021, when the Covid-19 epidemic was still tense, Le Mi bravely volunteered to support the work of preventing and fighting the epidemic. Those difficult days taught her a profound lesson about responsibility and compassion to live up to the spirit of responsibility "4T" (responsibility to oneself, family, society and nature) of BDU.
Looking back on the past, Le Mi could not hide her pride but remained humble. Le Mi shared a heartfelt message to the students of the next generation: "Always be proactive in studying, boldly participate in activities, hone your skills and maintain your passion. Do not be afraid of challenges, because new experiences are the most valuable assets for the future. Set clear goals and persistently pursue them. Success does not come immediately, but if you keep trying, you will definitely achieve what you deserve"./.
