Ha Nhi stated that she accepted the risks involved in this project and confirmed that it was a product she dared to create, stepping outside her comfort zone. Whether it succeeds or fails, she will accept it and view it as a unique experience.
The music video for "Ai lau đôi mi hoen" (Who Wipes Away Tears) immediately plunges viewers into a suspenseful and tense atmosphere with the image of Ha Nhi walking aimlessly through the dark night, clutching a flip phone. She walks against the crowd, her face distraught as if searching for a familiar figure.
It turned out that the boy she had desperately tried to contact had passed away. They were a couple who had fallen in love on the streets and shared many beautiful memories together. However, her lover had died. Ha Nhi's role in the music video is psychologically demanding.
She shared: "This is a new and challenging experiment for me; I never thought I would have to portray such intense emotions before. The cinematic camera angles in the music video fascinated me and felt completely different from anything I had ever done before."
Ha Nhi wasn't afraid to look bad and reveal her flaws while filming her new music video. |
"Who Wipes Away Tears?" marks the first collaboration between Ha Nhi and creative director Denis Dang.
Following "Ai lau đôi mi hoen ," Ha Nhi confirmed she will release her debut studio album titled SII.
Ha Nhi shared her thoughts on her major career project: “I want to explore the emotions that we often bury deep within ourselves. Sometimes we try to change a lot to please others, but in the end, our genuine feelings for them are like two streams that can never merge. But in the most desperate moments, rays of light will shine through. That's the message I want to convey.”
Ha Nhi appeared in Times Square, New York City on October 20th. |
