Hanoi issues enrollment plan, ensuring enough places to study in 2025-2026

The Steering Committee for Examinations and Admissions for the 2025-2026 school year in Hanoi has just issued a Plan on organizing the examinations and admissions to grade 10 high school and admissions to kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 in Hanoi for the 2025-2026 school year.

The Steering Committee requires ensuring enough places for students; maintaining and improving the quality of universaleducation , moving towards universal secondary education, implementing training streams after students complete the secondary school program; contributing to improving the quality of comprehensive education.

The results of the entrance exam are the basis for evaluating the teaching and learning results of high schools; they are the basis for preparing students to continue their studies or enter the workforce.

The Department requires strict implementation of the Examination Regulations, Admission Regulations; and guiding documents of the Ministry of Education and Training to ensure that the examinations and admissions to grade 10 of high school and admissions to kindergartens, grades 1 and 6 achieve results; organize admissions in accordance with the Regulations, ensuring safety, fairness, objectivity, transparency, correctly assessing the level of learners, and accurately reflecting the quality of teaching and learning.

Continue to implement solutions to increase enrollment scale, improve enrollment quality, improve facilities for schools, reduce the number of students outside the enrollment area, reduce the number of students/class. Increase the number of students studying 2 sessions/day. Ensure 5 clarity: enrollment route, enrollment quota, enrollment time, enrollment method and responsibility in enrollment; continue to use online enrollment support software.
