(CLO) "Hanoi Concert - New Year Concert 2025" will bring classic music from around the world, a classy music party.
On January 1, 2025, the program "Hanoi Concert - New Year Concert 2025" will take place at the Hanoi Opera House, bringing to the public Vietnamese and world classical works.
According to Hanoi Radio and Television - the concert organizer, "Hanoi Concert - New Year Concert 2025" is inspired by "The Vienna New Year's Concert" - Austria's Vienna New Year's Concert - one of the famous classical concerts in the world.

The program will bring the world's most classic music through the guidance of talented Japanese conductor Honna Tetsuji, along with the Vietnam National Symphony Orchestra and famous artists such as violinist Bui Cong Duy, leading opera singer Meritorious Artist Pham Khanh Ngoc, tenor Tuan Anh, and soprano Bao Yen.
The audience will enjoy the great musical works: "Nguoi Ha Noi" - a familiar yet profound melody by Nguyen Dinh Thi performed by Tenor Tuan Anh; the cheerful, bustling and joyful instrumental work "Chuc Mung New Year" by musician Do Kien Cuong; the famous romantic yet nostalgic and passionate piece "Ladies in Lavender", composed by British composer Nigel Hess.
In addition, the program also includes "Waltz of the Flowers" - one of the most famous waltzes by Russian composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, excerpted from the ballet "The Nutcracker" with the harmony of string and woodwind instruments, the waltz promises to create a musical space that is both graceful, soaring, and splendid and magnificent.
One of the highlights of the concert is the work "Cinema Paradiso" by the famous Italian composer Ennio Morricone composed for the film of the same name directed by Giuseppe Tornatore, released in 1988. The combination of talented violinist Bui Cong Duy and charming soprano voice of Pham Khanh Ngoc will surely touch the hearts of every audience member of the concert night.
