New book collects many stories and authentic images about the People's Public Security force.

On August 28, at the Vietnam Exhibition Center, Dong Anh (Hanoi), the Truth National Political Publishing House in collaboration with the Central Public Security Party Committee - Ministry of Public Security introduced the book "When people need, when people are in difficulty, there is the police."

This is an important event to open the book exhibition activities held within the framework of the Socio -Economic Achievements Exhibition to celebrate the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2.

The book “When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there are police” is an important publication compiled under the direction of the Central Party Committee of the Public Security, affirming the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security force, absolutely loyal to the Party, to the Fatherland, closely attached to the People, “Forgetting oneself for the country, serving the people.”

The book is a rich collection of documents, stories, and authentic and touching images about the silent and immense contributions of the People's Public Security force throughout the history of revolution, especially in peacetime.

Speaking at the ceremony, Associate Professor-Doctor Vu Trong Lam, Director-Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, affirmed that the compilation, editing and publication of the book "When the people need, when the people are in trouble, there is the police" is a continuation of the concretization of the Regulations on coordination in protecting national security, ensuring social order and safety between the Ministry of Public Security and the National Political Publishing House, Truth, in the past time.

Mr. Vu Trong Lam said that the content of the book truly reflects the spirit of being close to the people, understanding the people, and serving the people of the People's Public Security force; clearly showing the "blood" relationship between the Public Security and the People. This will be an important document for Party committees at all levels to study and research in order to serve the political tasks of Party organizations in the People's Public Security force.

On this occasion, the Truth National Political Publishing House also launched the book "The Communist Party of Vietnam through Congresses - Historical Decisions" edited by Associate Professor - Doctor Vu Trong Lam, a special publication to welcome Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The book analyzes and clarifies the historical decisions of the Party at each congress, guiding the entire Party, the entire army and the entire people to organize and carry out revolutionary tasks in accordance with the requirements of the new situation. This is not only a profound theoretical and practical summary work, but also a summary of valuable lessons learned during the process of the Party leading the Vietnamese revolution.

According to the Director-Editor-in-Chief of the National Political Publishing House, Truth, the content of the book shows that over the past 95 years, our Party has made constant efforts, closely following the practical situation in the country and the world to issue correct and creative policies and strategies to help the Vietnamese revolution overcome all difficulties, hardships, and sacrifices to achieve great and glorious victories, build and protect the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland to develop more and more strongly, and the people's lives to become more and more prosperous and happy.

Those decisions are an important basis for guiding our entire Party, army and people in organizing and implementing all revolutionary tasks in accordance with the requirements and tasks in the new situation.

On this occasion, to spread the value and meaning of the two special publications, the National Political Publishing House Truth presented two books to leaders of the Party, State, central ministries, branches and some units under the Ministry of Public Security./.
