Hanoi announces first digital map to support high school graduation exam candidates

(Dan Tri) - On the afternoon of June 18, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training announced a digital map to help candidates find their high school graduation exam scores. This is the first year Hanoi has applied a digital map to find exam scores.

The digital map will be developed on a mobile platform, allowing candidates and parents to use it to find exam locations or routes to exam locations.

According to the leader of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training, the digital map has an interface for locating, routing, and guiding areas on a satellite map, helping the coordination, mobilization, invigilation, and organization of exams to take place safely and scientifically .

When clicking on any test site, all information about the test site, location, route, travel time, etc., will appear on the screen.

With the digital map, candidates and parents can easily move to the correct exam location, look up information about routes and travel times; avoid going to the wrong exam location, being late for the exam, affecting the rights of candidates during the exam.

Director of the Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong said that among the 250 exam sites, many have the same name but are junior high or high schools. There are also schools with the same name but located in different districts.

The application of digital maps is one of the remote prevention solutions to limit the situation of candidates getting lost in the wrong exam location on the exam day.

In the recent 10th grade entrance exam in Hanoi, digital maps were effectively tested and will continue to be widely applied in the upcoming high school graduation exam.

This year’s high school graduation exam will take place on June 26 and 27. Candidates will complete exam registration procedures at 2:00 p.m. on June 25. When coming to complete exam registration procedures, candidates must bring their exam registration notice.

This year, the whole country has over 1.1 million candidates registered for the exam; in which Hanoi continues to be the locality with the largest number of candidates registered for the exam with over 124,000 candidates (accounting for more than 1/10 of the whole country). To prepare well for the exam organization, Hanoi has arranged 233 exam locations.

The exam will have 2 subjects, which are candidates studying the 2018 generaleducation program and candidates studying the 2006 general education program. For the above 2 subjects, there will be 2 corresponding exams.

Also today, high schools, vocational education centers - continuing education centers in the city have completed returning the 2025 high school graduation exam notices to 12th grade students.
