At about 4:56 p.m. on June 17, 2025, a fire broke out at the 4-storey townhouse No. 08-TT35 Van Phu Urban Area, Ha Dong District, Hanoi City after a loud explosion.
Immediately upon receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Information Center dispatched 4 fire trucks and dozens of officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire and search and rescue.
Information from Hanoi City Police said the explosion killed two people.
