On the evening of June 19, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center announced that it had coordinated with the Government Office and the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group to convert the system and officially close the Ho Chi Minh City Online Public Service Portal to merge with the National Public Service Portal from June 19.
Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center cooperates with Binh Duong and Ba Ria - Vung Tau provinces to merge and use a single platform to handle administrative procedures in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is implemented according to Decree No. 118 of the Government on implementing administrative procedures under the one-stop, one-stop mechanism at the one-stop department and the National Public Service Portal.
To close the Ho Chi Minh City Public Service Portal, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center declared 1,875 administrative procedures, configured electronic form connections on the National Public Service Portal, and tested the system's load capacity when merging to ensure over 1,000 simultaneous accesses.
It is expected that on June 21 and 22, the Ho Chi Minh City Digital Transformation Center will pilot the two-level local government model for all 168 wards, communes, and special zones of the new Ho Chi Minh City. The Center will also assign two personnel to each unit to support and guide the continuous and smooth handling of administrative records for people and businesses.
