TPO - It is forecasted that this evening and tonight (July 13), Hanoi will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. From tomorrow evening and night until July 15, Hanoi will continue to experience heavy rain.

According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, due to the influence of the northern edge of the tropical convergence zone combined with high-altitude wind convergence, this evening and tonight (July 13), Hanoi will have scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places. The thunderstorms occurred after a hot day, so there is a high risk of tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.

Then, from tomorrow evening and night (July 14) to July 15, Hanoi will continue to have showers and thunderstorms, with some heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind. Total rainfall during this time is commonly 30 - 50mm, with some over 80mm.

The meteorological agency warns that from the night of July 15 to 16, Hanoi will continue to have showers and thunderstorms, with some areas having heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is still a risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail and strong gusts of wind.

Hanoi may have scattered rain in the coming days.

Thanks to thunderstorms, Hanoi will end its hot weather from tomorrow. In the following days, Hanoi will maintain cool weather with the highest temperature from 31-32 degrees. The lowest temperature from 24-25 degrees.

Experts say that today and tomorrow, a low pressure area is likely to form on the tropical convergence zone with an axis through the central East Sea. This low pressure area is likely to strengthen into a tropical depression.

Due to the influence of the tropical convergence zone, the weather at sea and on land, including the capital Hanoi, will fluctuate in the next few days. It is necessary to update the latest forecast bulletins of the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting.
