TPO - Forecasts indicate scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, in Hanoi this evening and tonight (July 13). From tomorrow evening and night until July 15, Hanoi will continue to experience heavy rain.
According to the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting, due to the influence of the northern edge of the tropical convergence zone combined with upper-level wind convergence, Hanoi will experience scattered rain and showers, with thunderstorms in some areas, this evening and tonight (July 13). The thunderstorms, occurring after a day of hot weather, pose a high risk of lightning, strong winds, and gusts.
Then, from late afternoon and night tomorrow (July 14th) to July 15th, Hanoi will continue to experience showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind. The total rainfall during this period will generally be 30-50mm, with some areas exceeding 80mm.
The meteorological agency warns that from the night of July 15th to the day of July 16th, Hanoi will continue to experience showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain. During thunderstorms, there is a continued risk of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Hanoi may experience scattered rain in the coming days. |
Thanks to thunderstorms, Hanoi's heatwave will end tomorrow. In the following days, Hanoi will maintain cool weather with a maximum temperature of 31-32 degrees Celsius and a minimum temperature of 24-25 degrees Celsius.
Experts predict that today and tomorrow, a low-pressure area is likely to form along the tropical convergence zone with its axis passing through the central part of the South China Sea. This low-pressure area could then strengthen into a tropical depression.
Due to the influence of the tropical convergence zone, weather conditions at sea and on land, including Hanoi, will remain volatile in the coming days. It is necessary to update with the latest forecast bulletins from the National Center for Meteorological and Hydrological Forecasting.
