Hanoi is about to deploy digital transcripts in all high schools.

On August 12, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training (DET) held a conference to summarize the pilot digital report card for primary schools and deploy digital report cards for secondary schools.

According to the report of the Department of Education and Training, with the largest educational scale in the country, Hanoi was assigned by the Ministry of Education and Training to pilot the digital report card at the primary level and officially piloted from April 2024. Summarizing one year of piloting the digital report card at the primary level, Hanoi is the leading unit nationwide in the results of implementing the digital report card at the primary level.

As of July 31, the number of signed transcripts out of the total number of primary school students reached 97.6%. The remaining percentage is a number of students who have not completed the task, continue to practice during the summer and will complete the signing after the results of additional training are available.

Leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee and the Department of Education and Training launched the implementation of digital transcripts at the high school level.

Affirming that the pilot of digital report cards at the primary level has initially brought high efficiency, Director of the Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong also admitted that the pilot process still has some difficulties such as costs arising from infrastructure, storage and operation of the digital report card data system; teachers must use their personal phones and devices to install digital signature management software; teachers in some units must pay for the maintenance of digital signature services themselves...

Based on the pilot results for primary school level, Director of Hanoi Department of Education and Training Tran The Cuong launched the implementation of digital report cards in all high schools in the city from the 2024-2025 school year.

To successfully deploy digital transcripts in high schools across the city from the next school year, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai requested the Hanoi Department of Education and Training to unify awareness of digital transformation among cadres, teachers, and employees in the entire sector, especially the responsibility of the head of each unit.

At the same time, it is necessary to pay attention to investing in synchronous data infrastructure; promoting digitalization and data connection; focusing on "4 no's" including: Being able to have meetings without meeting, processing paperless documents, handling contactless administrative procedures and cashless payments and "4 yes's" including: Having all safe actions in the digital environment, being able to provide new services quickly, being able to use resources optimally and being able to create development, leading national digital transformation, effectively solving major problems in socio-economic development and management.
