Hanoi temporarily suspends the organization of Party Congresses in districts, counties, and towns.

Kinhtedothi - On March 5th, the Hanoi City Party Committee issued Document No. 1458-CV/TU regarding the implementation of Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW of the Politburo and the Secretariat.

In accordance with Conclusion No. 127-KL/TW dated February 28, 2025, of the Politburo and the Secretariat of the Central Committee "on conducting research and proposing further restructuring of the political system's organizational apparatus," the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee requests that subordinate Party committees implement the following contents:

Actively disseminate and widely publicize the policy of reorganizing and streamlining the organizational structure; do a good job in political and ideological work, creating high consensus and unity in society, especially among cadres, Party members, civil servants, and public employees, in accordance with Plan No. 303-KH/TU dated March 5, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee.

Focus on leadership and guidance to continue implementing local tasks; ensure the city's growth targets are met, without affecting the operations of agencies, organizations, and units throughout the political system from the city level to the grassroots; and ensure discipline and order in the management and administration of all levels of government. The Party Committee of the People's Committee of the city is tasked with leading the People's Committee and relevant agencies to provide specific guidance on this matter.

The organization of Party Congresses at the district, county, and town levels, and at the grassroots Party organizations under the district, county, and town Party committees, is temporarily suspended. Other Party organizations shall hold their Congresses in accordance with the spirit of Directive No. 35-CT/TW, Conclusion No. 118-KL/TW of the Politburo , and Plan No. 258-KH/TU of the City Party Committee. Following the 11th Conference of the Central Committee of the Party, based on the Central Committee's directives, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee will provide specific guidance.

Recruitment of civil servants and public employees, and the acceptance of civil servants and public employees from outside the city, are temporarily suspended. The addition of Party committees and standing committees, appointments, and nominations for higher positions in districts, counties, towns, and communes are also temporarily suspended. This does not apply to public service units in the fields of health, education, and affiliated enterprises.
