Hanoi announces hanging of national flags to celebrate August 19 and September 2

Accordingly, on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), the Hanoi People's Committee requested agencies, units, hospitals, schools and people in the city to fly the national flag.

Specifically, the 79th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2024) will be marked with the national flag from August 18, 2024 to August 20, 2024.

Celebrating the 79th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2024), the national flag will be flown from August 31, 2024 to September 3, 2024.

People's Committees of districts, towns and cities are responsible for directing, inspecting and reminding the hanging of the national flag in residential areas; Heads of agencies and units direct and inspect the hanging of the national flag in units under their management to ensure compliance with regulations.
