The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at schools and educational institutions in Hanoi will be held at the same time as the 80th anniversary celebration of the Ministry of National Education (now the Ministry of Education and Training ) and the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at the National Convention Center (from 8:00 to 9:30 on September 5).

The Hanoi Department of Education and Training requires that all planned school activities (if any) be organized concisely and end before 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., all delegates, teachers, and students fully participate in the program organized by the Ministry of Education and Training (including performing the flag-raising ceremony, singing the National Anthem at the same time as the flag-raising ceremony at the National Convention Center; listening to speeches by Party and State leaders...).

For preschool level, according to actual conditions, preschools organize "Children's Day to School" ending before 8:00 a.m.; choose a suitable location to hold the Opening Ceremony, ensuring safety and creating a joyful atmosphere for children.

For newly built schools, the inauguration ceremony will be held on a different day than September 5. The opening ceremony will not be held at the same time as the inauguration ceremony.
