Hanoi organizes many activities to celebrate President Ho Chi Minh's birthday

Hanoi organizes exhibitions, art performances and meaningful activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh, from May 16-19, 2025.

The Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports said that the city will organize many exhibitions and special art performances to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025).

Accordingly, on the evening of May 17, the Hanoi Cheo Theatre will perform an art program in Tien Hoi village, Dong Hoi commune, Dong Anh district. On the evening of May 18, the Thang Long Puppetry Theatre will perform in Lenin Park (Dien Bien Phu, Ba Dinh); the Hanoi Cai Luong Theatre will perform in the center of Ung Hoa district; the Hanoi Circus and Variety Arts Theatre will perform in the center of Thuong Tin district; the Hanoi Drama Theatre will perform in the center of Soc Son district; the Thang Long Music and Dance Theatre will perform in Long Bien district... On this occasion, many relics and tourist attractions in Hanoi will also organize many meaningful activities and events. Accordingly, on the morning of May 16, at the President Ho Chi Minh Relic Site, the exhibition "President Ho Chi Minh: National quintessence, contemporary stature" will open, introducing 135 photos of President Ho Chi Minh from 1954-1969 and the book "135 stories about Uncle Ho."

At the Ho Chi Minh Museum - where the heritage of President Ho Chi Minh is preserved, the thematic exhibition "Noble and simple examples" will open on May 18.

From May 16-30, the Vietnam Fine Arts Museum organized the exhibition “Ho Chi Minh in the visual arts” recreating the image of Uncle Ho - the great revolutionary and leader, while expressing the sincere feelings and deep admiration of artists for him.

At the same time, in the coming days, a number of relics in Hanoi managed by the Hanoi Department of Culture and Sports such as: 48 Hang Ngang relic (where Uncle Ho wrote the Declaration of Independence) and the national relic "President Ho Chi Minh's house in December 1946" (where Uncle Ho wrote the Call for National Resistance) are being adjusted and supplemented with artifacts and documents to serve visitors.


The 48 Hang Ngang relic site still welcomes pre-registered groups; and the national relic site “The House where President Ho Chi Minh lived and worked in December 1946” still welcomes locals and tourists every day. Many new documents and artifacts have been added, helping visitors understand more about President Ho Chi Minh's activities.

At Hoa Lo Prison relic, propaganda activities to celebrate the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh have been stepped up. Historical stories, the guiding and guiding role of President Ho Chi Minh on the path to national liberation have been shared on the fanpage, attracting a large number of young people. In addition, the relic still maintains the exhibition "Song of Peace" with many documents and artifacts from the period of resistance against American imperialism, liberating the South, and unifying the country./.
