Korean enterprises attending seminars and trade programs with enterprises of the Delegation all highly appreciated the business and investment prospects with Vietnam.
The program is implemented with close coordination of the Vietnam Trade Office in Korea, the ASEAN-Korea Center (AKC), the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the Korea Import Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KOIMA) and related partners.
The delegation includes 17 Vietnamese enterprises operating in the fields of agricultural products, seafood, food, beverages, household goods, construction materials... The main goal of the program is to promote products, connect partners and expand the distribution system in the Korean market.
The highlight of the program is the product display and introduction at the joint booth of the Trade Office - Embassy of Vietnam in Korea, within the framework of the Korea Import Fair taking place in Seoul on July 8-9, 2025. This is an important opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises to directly approach Korean consumers and importers, while affirming the position of Vietnamese goods in the international market. Enterprises also actively visit and learn about booths of other countries to grasp the trends in design, promotion, and display of modern products, thereby drawing experience in developing domestic products.
During the working trip, the delegation also attended the Vietnam - Korea Trade Conference organized by the Trade Promotion Agency in collaboration with the ASEAN - Korea Center in Seoul. Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy, Deputy Director of the Center for Trade and Investment Promotion, emphasized that the investment environment in Vietnam is increasingly improving, and introduced the Government's breakthrough policies in economic development based on science and technology, innovation and digital transformation - the pillars to enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth.
Ms. Win Min Phyoe, representative of the ASEAN-Korea Center, highly appreciated the ASEAN-Korea Free Trade Agreement (AKFTA) in promoting bilateral trade. She expected that the trade turnover between the two countries would soon reach 150 billion USD before 2030, while emphasizing the potential for cooperation in the fields of mining, sustainable development and climate change response, especially the goal of net zero emissions.
At the workshop, Vietnamese enterprises had many direct working sessions with Korean partners, in which agricultural products, food and seafood received special attention thanks to their stable quality and potential for long-term cooperation.

In Busan city, on the morning of July 11, 2025, the delegation organized a trade connection program with Korean enterprises and visited two large enterprises, Sanjim Food and Nongshim Busan Factory. Thereby, Vietnamese enterprises had the opportunity to learn about modern production models and access the demand for input materials for food production in Korea.
Korean enterprises participating in the trade activities highly appreciated the potential for cooperation with Vietnamese enterprises. The working program in Seoul and Busan created favorable conditions for them to learn more about the products and supply capacity of Vietnamese enterprises, which are increasingly diversified in design and meet strict quality requirements.
The Trade Mission Program in Korea has made a practical contribution to helping businesses gain a deeper understanding of the trends, needs, and development potential of the Korean market, one of Vietnam's leading important economic partners, contributing to further strengthening bilateral trade relations.
