The 1st Provincial Party Congress: Promoting democracy, solidarity, and innovating activities in the era of growth

This morning (July 23), the Provincial People's Council Party Committee held its first Congress for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee's agencies attended and directed the Congress.

Attending the Congress were comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee; comrades of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the People's Council, National Assembly Delegation, and Provincial People's Committee Party Committee.

The Congress has the theme: "Promoting democracy, solidarity, building a strong and comprehensive Party organization; accelerating digital transformation, improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Provincial People's Council's operations to meet development requirements in the new era".

Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council delivered the closing speech of the Congress.

At the Congress, delegates focused on assessing the results of implementing political tasks and Party building work for the 2020-2025 term; determining directions, goals, tasks, and solutions for the 2025-2030 term; discussing and contributing comments to the draft documents of the Party Congresses of provincial Party agencies and the documents of the 14th National Congress of the Party.

The Presidium listened to reports at the Congress.

During the past term, the Provincial People's Council Party Committee has promoted the spirit of solidarity, democracy, proactive innovation, improved the quality of advisory work, built and issued many mechanisms and policies to serve socio -economic development, ensure national defense and security; at the same time, improved the effectiveness of supervision, questioning, receiving citizens, and resolving voters' recommendations.

The Congress also frankly acknowledged some remaining limitations such as inspection and supervision work is sometimes not thorough; grasping and making recommendations on problems at the grassroots level in some places is not timely; the quality of some inspection and consultation activities does not meet requirements.

The Congress set out the goals for the new term: Building a clean and strong Party organization in all aspects; promoting democracy, discipline, innovation and creativity, improving the quality of activities of the Provincial People's Council and the Office; accelerating comprehensive digital transformation in the activities of the Provincial People's Council, striving to excellently complete assigned political tasks. The Congress identified 3 key tasks for the term. In particular, focusing on innovation and improving the quality of deciding on important local issues; promptly issuing resolutions on mechanisms and policies, focusing on key tasks and breakthrough areas of the province; enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of supervision work in a focused, key and practical direction; improving the quality of Party cell activities, building a contingent of cadres and Party members to meet the requirements of tasks in the new situation.

Speaking at the Congress, Comrade Le Thi Kim Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee in the past term. She emphasized: This is the earliest Party Committee to hold the Congress among the branches and Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee, which demonstrates the spirit of urgency, determination and drasticness in the leadership and direction of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee.

He suggested that the Provincial People's Council Party Committee continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and democracy, improve the quality of delegates' activities, strongly innovate working methods, especially in building resolutions to specify strategic pillars such as digital transformation, international integration, and private economic development.

He also requested the Provincial People's Council Party Committee to urgently deploy an action program to implement the Congress Resolution, concretize it into clear tasks and plans, and identify individual and organizational responsibilities to soon put the resolution into practice, actively contributing to the overall success of the Provincial Party Committee and Party agencies.

The Congress announced the decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Inspection Committee, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Inspection Committee of the Party Committee for the 2025-2030 term. Comrade Nguyen Van Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, holds the position of Secretary of the Provincial People's Council Party Committee; comrades Pham Thi Minh Xuan and Hau Minh Loi hold the positions of Deputy Secretaries of the Party Committee; The delegation attending the 1st Provincial Party Congress of Party agencies for the 2025-2030 term consists of 13 comrades.

With the spirit of "Responsibility, innovation, professionalism and efficiency", the Provincial People's Council Party Committee is determined to successfully complete the set goals and tasks, contributing to building Tuyen Quang province to develop rapidly and sustainably in the new era.
