Kinhtedothi - On the morning of February 21st, the Hanoi City Party Committee held a conference on the implementation of digital transformation applications in Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations in the city.

The conference was held in person at the Hanoi City Party Committee headquarters and online to all cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers of Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations at 542 locations in districts, towns, and cities, with more than 5,000 delegates in attendance.
In his opening remarks, Chief of the City Party Committee Office Tran Thanh Ha stated that the conference is one of the important activities aimed at implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024, of the Politburo on breakthroughs in the development of science , technology, innovation, and national digital transformation; and Decision No. 204-QĐ/TW dated November 29, 2024, of the Secretariat approving the Project on digital transformation in Party agencies.
Simultaneously, this concretizes Resolution No. 18-NQ/TU dated December 30, 2022, of the Hanoi City Party Committee on digital transformation and building a smart city of Hanoi by 2025, with a vision to 2030; and Directive No. 42-CT/TU dated January 23, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee on continuing to promote digital transformation throughout the Hanoi City Party Committee, building and developing a smart capital, and effectively implementing the Digital Transformation Project in Party agencies.
Tran Thanh Ha, Chief of the City Party Committee Office, emphasized that digital transformation plays a particularly important role for Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations. It helps to improve leadership, guidance, management, and administration capabilities. At the same time, it strengthens the connection with the people and meets the increasingly high demands of the cause of building and developing the Capital city.
At the 2024 working session between General Secretary To Lam and the Standing Committee of the Hanoi City Party Committee, city leaders stated that, based on the experiences and initial results achieved in the past, the Hanoi City Party Committee will resolutely lead, direct, and take the lead in effectively organizing and implementing digital transformation throughout the entire Party, government, and political organizations of the city.
To clearly demonstrate that determination, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, headed by the City Party Secretary, immediately directed the drafting and issuance of Directive No. 42-CT/TU dated January 23, 2025, of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on continuing to promote digital transformation throughout the Hanoi City Party Committee, building and developing a smart capital, and effectively implementing the digital transformation project in Party agencies.
Simultaneously, a decision was made to establish a Steering Committee of the City Party Committee for the implementation of Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW, chaired by the City Party Secretary. Alongside this, a Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of the City Party Committee was established, chaired by the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee; and working groups were formed to assist the City Party Committee's Steering Committee.
In addition, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, specifically the Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee, has decisively directed agencies and units, particularly the City Party Committee Office, to organize the development and implementation of many groundbreaking digital transformation applications to effectively apply the achievements of science and technology to management and administration.
"Today's conference is one of the concrete ways to implement this policy and guiding principle," the Chief of the City Party Committee Office emphasized.
At the conference, delegates heard presentations and learned about the implementation of the expanded City Document Management and Administration Software for Party agencies, the Fatherland Front, and political and social organizations at all levels in the city. They also heard presentations on the software for building work programs for the City Party Committee and Party committees at all levels; and received guidance on using the virtual assistant software for document Q&A and the software for supporting verification and evaluation.
These applications serve as a foundation for building shared data within the Party and government agencies of the city, aiming for unified management, sharing, and exploitation of common data, moving towards integrating data at all three levels across the city. This is also a significant milestone in the city's digital transformation strategy, especially in Party agencies, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, and political and social organizations. Important, synchronized, and systematic platform applications such as the "Digital Office - Smart Office" system are being built and deployed synchronously at all three levels, throughout the entire Party system, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi, and political and social organizations of the city, connecting with the central system; virtual assistants will also support the leadership and daily work of officials.
