According to the National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, on the morning of October 8, the Northwest and Viet Bac regions of the North, Hanoi City will receive moderate rain, heavy rain and thunderstorms, some places will have very heavy rain. Other places in the North and Thanh Hoa will have scattered showers and thunderstorms with rainfall of 10-30mm, locally heavy rain.

Risk of heavy rain, rainfall can exceed 100mm in just 3 hours, potential risk of flash floods, landslides and flooding in low-lying, urban areas.

From the afternoon of October 8, heavy rain in the above areas tends to decrease, showers and thunderstorms still appear in some places. On the night of October 8 and the day of October 9, the North and Thanh Hoa will have showers and thunderstorms in some places, sunny during the day.

South Central Coast In the evening and at night, there will be showers and thunderstorms in some places. During the day, it will be sunny. Southwest wind level 2-3. During the thunderstorms, there will be tornadoes, lightning, and strong gusts of wind. Lowest temperature 24-27°C. Highest temperature 31-34°C.
