Hanoi: Verifying information about teachers violating extra teaching regulations in Ha Dong district

Regarding the information reflecting that a teacher in Ha Dong district taught extra classes outside of school for students that the teacher was teaching in the regular class, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training has requested the Department of Education and Training of Ha Dong district to urgently verify and strictly handle if any.

Accordingly, immediately after receiving the feedback, on the afternoon of April 25, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training sent a document requesting the Department of Education and Training of Ha Dong district to inspect, verify the information, strictly handle violations (if any) according to regulations, and report the handling results in writing to the Department before April 28.

Previously, on the afternoon of April 24, during a surprise inspection at a tutoring facility about 100m from the school, the Board of Directors of Van Yen Secondary School (Ha Dong District) discovered that some teachers of the school were directly tutoring their own students. This is contrary to Circular No. 29/2024/TT-BGDDT dated December 30, 2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training regulating tutoring and learning.

Recently, based on information reported in the press, the Hanoi Department of Education and Training also requested verification and suspension of operations of a cultural training center in Dong Da district because the center did not ensure operating conditions according to regulations.
