Ha Tinh arranges land fund to implement the project "1 million social housing apartments"

On April 3, 2023, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 338/QD-TTg approving the Project "Investing in the construction of at least 1 million social housing apartments for low-income people and industrial park workers in the period of 2021 - 2030" (hereinafter referred to as the project). Accordingly, Ha Tinh was assigned the target of building 3,700 apartments, of which 1,500 apartments in the period of 2021 - 2025 and 2,200 apartments in the period of 2025 - 2030.

Ha Tinh was assigned the target of building 3,700 social housing apartments, of which 1,500 units will be built in the 2021-2025 period and 2,200 units in the 2025-2030 period.

To implement the project, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh province assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with departments, branches and localities to advise on adjusting and supplementing the Housing Development Program of Ha Tinh province for the period 2021 - 2030, ensuring consistency with the orientations and goals of socio-economic development according to the provincial planning and the National Housing Development Strategy. Some adjusted contents were approved by the Provincial People's Council in Resolution No. 213/NQ-HDND dated December 13, 2024, serving as a legal basis for the implementation of social housing construction.

In recent times, Ha Tinh has actively implemented planning and land allocation for the social housing construction program. According to information from the Department of Construction, up to now, the province has 13 detailed planning projects for commercial housing projects and urban areas with a total area of ​​784.62 hectares (5 projects have been approved for investment policy; 7 projects are implementing investment and construction procedures - PV). Of which, investors have allocated 20% of the total residential land area to build social housing with a total area of ​​nearly 50 hectares.

People in Ha Tinh province are given favorable conditions to borrow capital to buy social housing.

For industrial parks, many projects have also arranged land funds to build workers' housing in accordance with regulations such as: Bac Thach Ha Industrial Park (Thach Ha district), Gia Lach Industrial Park (Nghi Xuan district), Vinhomes Vung Ang Industrial Park Infrastructure Investment and Construction and Business Project (Ky Anh Town).

To increase the supply of social housing for the market, in 2025, Ha Tinh aims to complete investment and construction procedures to start construction of 488 social housing units in Tran Phu Ward, Ha Tinh City; at the same time, complete the dossier to submit for approval of the investment policy of the Social Housing project in Thach Trung Ward, Ha Tinh City with a scale of 1,500 units and the New Urban Area project in Ky Trinh Ward, Ky Anh Town, with an expected scale of about 1,200 social housing units.
