Ha Tinh strives to resolve the regime for meritorious people

Having gone through the wars, Ha Tinh is one of the localities with the largest number of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers and people with meritorious services to the revolution. Resolving policies for people with meritorious services is not only a duty but also a sacred sentiment. Therefore, authorities at all levels and functional agencies always seek to remove difficulties and obstacles in resolving policies for people with meritorious services, especially in cases of lost documents, original records or lack of understanding of processes and procedures.

Returning from the war with an 81% disability, Mr. Le Van Than often suffered from excruciating pain. On September 5, 2022, 1/4 disabled veteran Le Van Than passed away due to a relapse of his injuries.

Given the family's circumstances, the government and relevant agencies quickly completed the worker's file to recognize him as a martyr. Mr. Le Van Than is one of two wounded soldiers in Can Loc district who were recognized as martyrs due to a relapse of his injuries.

As for Mr. Le Huu Thuong, in Tien Dien town, Nghi Xuan district, he is a 4/4 war invalid. In 1986, when his third child showed abnormal physical and mental symptoms, he and his child were supported with an Agent Orange/dioxin assessment to complete the procedures for receiving monthly allowances.

With the drastic participation of Party committees, authorities and related sectors, up to now, Ha Tinh has confirmed and implemented policies for 303,379 people with meritorious services, including: 2,946 veteran revolutionary cadres, 849 pre-uprising cadres, 26,656 martyrs, 35 labor heroes and armed forces heroes in the resistance war, 37,793 war invalids, 10,129 sick soldiers, 6,700 resistance fighters infected with toxic chemicals, 663 resistance fighters imprisoned by the enemy, 172,275 people awarded the Resistance Medal, 43,337 families with meritorious services to the revolution. 1,987 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, living Vietnamese Heroic Mothers are cared for and supported thoughtfully.

Currently, the work of confirming records for meritorious people continues to be focused on, especially for those who have lost original documents or whose information does not match the original records...
