Immediately after the final Premier League match on May 25, MU headed to Malaysia and Hong Kong (China) for a post-season tour. However, not all players were excited about the long trip with a distance of nearly 10,000 km.
Lindelof did not attend because his wife, Maja, is pregnant with their third child and stayed in Sweden during the Europa League final. Eriksen stayed in Denmark to marry his long-term girlfriend Sabrina Kvist Jensen in Odense last week.
Both players are out of contract with MU on June 30 and will likely leave on free transfers.
MU's tour took place amid chaos both on and off the pitch. Coach Ruben Amorim's team lost 0-1 to the ASEAN All Star in Kuala Lumpur. In addition, two young talents Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo were heavily criticized for their inappropriate behavior towards fans.
