Two 3-year-old children tragically drowned.

(NLĐO) – Both children come from very difficult family circumstances. After the incident, the local authorities provided support to the families in arranging the funerals for the victims.

On February 9th, a leader of the People's Committee of Dak Nia commune, Gia Nghia city, Dak Nong province, stated that a drowning incident had occurred in Dak Nia commune, resulting in the tragic deaths of two children.

According to initial information, at around 5 PM on February 8th, two 3-year-old children, NAT (residing in Dak Nia commune) and TMT (residing in Nghia Duc ward, Gia Nghia city), were playing in the lake area bordering Nghia Duc ward and Dak Nia commune.

When the children didn't return home, the family and villagers split up to search for them and found both of them in the lake.

People brought the two children ashore, but NAT had already died; TMT was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but also passed away by noon on February 9th.

Both families are facing difficult circumstances. Following the incident, local authorities visited, offered condolences, and provided support to the families in arranging the funerals for the victims.
