From now until December 25, the Bac Hung Hai irrigation system is expected to carry out 3 water withdrawals (each lasting 5 days) to facilitate plowing, repairing, dredging sluice gates and channels. After that, water will be regulated to serve winter crop irrigation, spring rice seedling irrigation and improve the water environment.

After December 26, the system will be buffered and stored with maximum water. Based on the actual situation, Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. will consider operating Xuan Quan pumping station to supplement water for flooding when the water level of the external rivers is low or salty.

The concentrated flooding phase is expected to take water in 2 phases (phase 1 from January 13-16, 2025, phase 2 from February 8-15, 2025). The Company will maintain the highest water level according to the supply capacity of water sources from hydroelectric reservoirs so that localities can concentrate on taking water. Water regulation is expected to be carried out in rotation to ensure the distribution of flooding for the entire system. Strive to complete the flooding before February 10, 2025.

During the irrigation phase, the company will store water during high water and high tide periods to irrigate during low water and low tide periods. The plan to operate Xuan Quan pumping station to supplement water sources in case of low water sources has also been taken into account.
