Up to now, Hai Duong has 75 communes meeting advanced new rural standards, 32 communes meeting model new rural standards.

The People's Committee of Hai Duong province has just decided to recognize 23 more communes meeting advanced new rural standards and model new rural standards in 2024. Of these, 10 communes meet advanced new rural standards and 13 communes meet model new rural standards.

The communes that have met the advanced new rural standards include: Nam Hung, Cong Hoa, An Son, Tran Phu (Nam Sach); Nghia An (Ninh Giang); Hong Quang, Thanh Tung, Chi Lang Bac, Thanh Giang (Thanh Mien) and Thanh Hong (Thanh Ha).

The communes that have met the new rural model standards in education include: Kim Dinh, Dong Cam (Kim Thanh); Hong Du (Ninh Giang); Thanh Lang, Thanh An (Thanh Ha); Doan Tung (Thanh Mien).

The communes that have met the standards of a new cultural model rural area include: Dong Lac (Nam Sach), Tan Truong (Cam Giang), Hong Lac (Thanh Ha), and Le Hong (Thanh Mien).

The three communes that have achieved the model new rural standards in production are all in Cam Giang district, including: Ngoc Lien, Cam Hung and Luong Dien.
