Metro Line 6 Project – a unique and key tourism product of Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, was honored to be visited and experienced by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism for two consecutive days. This special attention not only affirms the profound cultural values of the project, but also shows the unique tourism development potential of the Capital.
At the opening ceremony of the Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2025, Mr. Ho An Phong - Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with leaders of the National Tourism Administration, Hanoi People's Committee, and Hanoi Department of Tourism, visited and experienced the subsidized car "Kitchen - Cupboard - Tray" of the Metro Line 6 project. The delegates were very moved by the vividly recreated memories of the subsidy period such as: meatless rice trays, bowls of pho mixed with cold rice, lunch boxes, thermoses, kerosene stoves, sugar stamps, rice books, meat coupons, etc.

The Deputy Minister also highly appreciated the creativity and enthusiasm of the project implementers, emphasizing that Metro Line 6 is not only a simple tourism product but also a "living museum" of Hanoi and about Hanoi, contributing to the preservation and promotion of traditional cultural values.
More surprisingly, the very next day, Deputy Minister Ho An Phong continued to visit and experience the project. In the space recreating a sidewalk tea shop - a cultural feature of Hanoi - the Deputy Minister spent more than an hour discussing with the project development team about methods, approaches and directions for expanding the project. The Deputy Minister hopes that the project will not only serve the people and tourists but also be a means to tell the story of Vietnamese culture in a vivid and attractive way, spreading it to the world. "Train Line No. 6" will not simply be a display space, but a journey of cultural and culinary experiences, where passengers can enjoy traditional dishes and be guided through historical and cultural slices through images, sounds, flavors and recreated spaces.
