On August 23, information from Vietnam Railway Corporation said that according to the report at 9:28 p.m. on August 22, at the level crossing Km 1649+528 through Long Khanh ward, Dong Nai, after the barrier was closed to welcome the SE4 train on the Saigon-Hanoi route through Dong Nai, suddenly a young man riding a motorbike with license plate 52-F1.2010 crashed straight into barrier No. 1 of the level crossing.

The sudden and strong crash caused the driver and vehicle to get stuck on the railway, threatening the safety of the train. Fortunately, two female gatekeepers at the Km 1649+528 crossing on the Long Khanh road bridge, Long Khanh railway team, Tran Thi Thuy and Vu Thi Dien, were quick-witted, calm, and brave in pulling the motorbike and the young man out of the railway area. Along with that, with the support of the people, the officers quickly pulled back the No. 1 crossing barrier.
The calm and professional handling of the situation by the two female crossing guards prevented a possible unfortunate railway accident.
The incident injured the young man on the train, and the No. 1 barrier was severely damaged and unusable. The brave actions of the two barrier workers were promptly commended and encouraged by Saigon Railway Joint Stock Company and the leaders of Vietnam Railway Corporation.
