Hai Phong: Non-traditional security challenges and prevention and response solutions

On the afternoon of August 28, the Department of Science and Technology of Hai Phong city organized a selection advisory council to carry out the city-level science and technology task: "Non-traditional security challenges in Hai Phong city and prevention and response solutions" registered by the Institute of Non-traditional Security, School of Business and Administration (Vietnam National University, Hanoi).

Deputy Director of Department of Science and Technology Pham Thi Sen Quynh chaired the Conference.

At the Conference, the Institute of Non-Traditional Security presented theories on prevention and response to non-traditional security threats in the context of globalization and international integration; Identifying non-traditional security threats and assessing the prevention and response to non-traditional security threats in Hai Phong city; Researching, forecasting, and proposing solutions to prevent and respond to non-traditional security threats in Hai Phong city in the current context; Developing plans and framework scenarios for prevention and response to non-traditional security threats in Hai Phong city in the current context.

The Council members discussed and contributed ideas for the research group to supplement and perfect the topic such as: clarifying specific objectives; supplementing domestic and international scientific research works to have a basis for inheritance; supplementing survey forms and survey subjects to increase the practicality of the topic; supplementing new relevant legal bases and research methods for each content.

At the end of the Conference, the Advisory Council unanimously approved the topic, and requested the host unit to seriously absorb all comments from the council members, edit and complete the dossier according to regulations for the Department of Science and Technology to submit to the City People's Committee for approval and implementation./.
