Organizing the opening ceremony of the 2025 - 2026 school year solemnly, safely and practically

On August 30, Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training sent a document to the People's Committees of communes, wards, special zones, and units under the department regarding the organization of the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year.

Accordingly, in order for the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year, associated with the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the education sector, to be held solemnly, safely, practically and economically, the Department of Education and Training requests the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to direct educational institutions under their management and units under the department to organize the opening ceremony at the same time as the celebration at the National Convention Center (Hanoi) on the morning of September 5. The event will be broadcast live on VTV1 channel of Vietnam Television and connected online to educational and training institutions nationwide. Units need to pay attention to the characteristics of each level of education, especially preschool education, to organize activities suitable for the psychology of each age group, ensuring the health and safety of children.

The Department of Education and Training also requested educational institutions in the province to proactively develop plans to prevent inclement weather from affecting the health of students as well as the organization of the ceremony; make the most of existing equipment to connect online or watch live television on VTV1 channel to ensure practicality, savings, and minimize the purchase of new equipment that wastes the state budget and educational institutions' funds.

According to the instructions of the Department of Education and Training, the opening ceremony program of the 2025-2026 school year associated with the 80th anniversary of the tradition of the Education sector is divided into 2 main parts. In which, the program at educational institutions takes place from 7:00 to 8:00 including activities: Welcoming students at the beginning of the year, performing arts programs, awarding scholarships, rewards, welcoming delegates...; the program at the National Convention Center (online) takes place from 8:00 to 9:30, including activities: Welcome performance, flag salute, General Secretary To Lam giving a speech and beating the drum to open the 2025-2026 school year...
