Promoting the spirit of volunteerism and community service, more than 60 officers, union members and youth of Detention Camp No. 1, Lao Cai Provincial Police voluntarily donated blood.

Major Bui Dinh Duc, Deputy Captain of the Prison Management Team, Detention Camp No. 1, shared: I have donated blood many times, but today, in this atmosphere, I find my contribution more meaningful than ever. "A drop of blood given - A life left behind". Donating blood to save people is a noble act, always the motto of the activities of the members and youth in our Youth Union as well as the young generation in general.

At the end of the program, the Organizing Committee received 61 units of blood, contributing to supplementing the blood reserve for emergency care and treatment of patients at Lao Cai General Hospital No. 2.
Since the beginning of July, General Hospital No. 2 has faced a serious blood shortage, especially during the September 2nd holiday. To proactively reserve blood sources, the hospital has launched a peak period of voluntary blood donation, mobilizing cadres, medical staff, patients' relatives, and agencies and units to participate.
Since August 29, Provincial General Hospital No. 2 has received over 100 units of blood - an invaluable "medicine" that helps many patients overcome critical conditions.
The voluntary blood donation activities of officers, union members and youth of Lao Cai Provincial Police not only have profound humanitarian meaning, but also spread the beautiful image of the People's Police soldiers who are always ready to contribute to the community.
