The Vietnamese Heart Volunteer Club mobilized more than 2,000 people to donate blood.

Over the past 9 months, the Vietnamese Heart Volunteer Club (Hai Phong) has mobilized more than 2,000 people to register to donate blood, receiving about 1,500 units of blood.

On September 28, at the Cherry Blossom Hall, AEON MALL Hai Phong Le Chan Shopping Center, the Vietnam Heart Volunteer Club in collaboration with the Hematology and Blood Transfusion Center (Vietnam - Czech Friendship Hospital) organized the voluntary blood donation festival "Pink Sunshine Drops 48". The festival attracted nearly 300 youth union members, volunteers, and workers to participate.

Here, the organizing committee collected 215 units of qualified blood, promptly supplementing the blood reserve to serve the treatment of patients in hospitals in the city.

Also within the framework of the program, officers and volunteers of the Vietnamese Heart Volunteer Club organized propaganda about congenital hemolytic disease (Thalassemia) in the community and the significance of organ donation.

Thus, in the 9 months of this year, the Vietnamese Heart Volunteer Club mobilized more than 2,000 people to participate in 8 days of voluntary blood donation, receiving about 1,500 units of blood.

In addition to participating in the voluntary blood donation campaign, the Vietnamese Heart Volunteer Club organizes a variety of charitable and humanitarian activities, targeting many disadvantaged and disadvantaged cases inside and outside the city such as: organizing the Mid-Autumn Festival for children with congenital hemolytic disease; supporting people in mountainous areas affected by natural disasters and epidemics; donating to support people with serious illnesses, children with sudden difficulties... with an average humanitarian value of 300 - 400 million VND/year.
