More than 300 volunteers participated in the blood donation festival

(Baohatinh.vn) - The voluntary blood donation festival at the inter-commune cluster of Duc Tho, Duc Dong, Duc Quang, Duc Thinh, Duc Minh (Ha Tinh) contributed to spreading the spirit of "One drop of blood given, one life saved".

On the morning of November 15, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation in Ha Tinh province and the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the inter-commune clusters of Duc Tho, Duc Dong, Duc Quang, Duc Minh, and Duc Thinh to organize the Voluntary Blood Donation Festival in 2025.

With the spirit of "Every drop of blood given - A life remains", the festival had the participation of more than 300 cadres, civil servants, public employees, union members, armed forces and people in 5 communes.

This is a meaningful activity, contributing to timely supplementing valuable blood sources for emergency care and patient treatment at hospitals in the province.

Volunteers expressed their joy at being able to contribute to sharing and spreading many meaningful messages for the community.

The festival is also an opportunity for officials and people in the communes to demonstrate their compassion and responsibility for the community. Thereby, spreading the voluntary blood donation movement more and more widely in the area. At the end of the festival, the organizing committee collected more than 260 units of blood, which are expected to be distributed to medical units across the province.
